AlterMed Research Foundation is looking for a highly dependable, competent, resourceful, communicative, detail-oriented, result-oriented, and personable conference chair volunteer to chair / plan, and execute our upcoming Colorado Integrative Medicine Conference (July 11-13, 2025 in Estes Park), working with various stakeholders, volunteers, customers, and sponsors / exhibitors to meet our conference planning and financial goals. We hope to grow our conference attendees from 300 to 500.

The position will involve multi-tasking and coordinating with numerous internal and external partners to keep on top of progress to realize a medical conference from plan, working with volunteers / management, marketers, coordinators, fund-raisers, sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees.

We are looking for a conference chair assistant with a passion for holistic health, a keen interest in whole-person healthcare, and bridging evidence-based integrative / holistic medicine, conventional healthcare, and the latest technologies like AI / data science / genomics / lifestyle changes in health care. This person must have excellent verbal / written skills in English, volunteer or people management skills, and is adept at using project management / electronic communication / MS office tools.

The mission of AlterMed Research Foundation is to be a change agent, through education, patient access, research to achieve the full integration of evidence-based complementary and alternative medicine into conventional healthcare so all people can enjoy optimum wellness. AlterMed plans to continue in 3 areas: (1) Education (e.g. Colorado Integrative Medicine Conference), (2) Research (funding quality integrative medicine research at universities), and (3) Patient Access of personalized and evidence-based integrative / holistic medicine.

This candidate must have a clean personal financial credit history and pass both credit and background checks for this opportunity. We look forward to doing great work together!

This volunteer must be a US Citizen and / or a legal US resident (preferably located in Northern Colorado)
