About Our Organization: Dunk4Dreams, our dedicated non-profit organization offers basketball-centric programs and technology access to underserved youth, primarily focusing on minority communities.
Job Description: We're seeking a Front End Web Developer to join our team. You'll be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying our organization's website to ensure its visual appeal, functionality, ease of use, and alignment with our brand strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, and product to understand business and user needs
* Design and implement new features and functionality to enhance the user experience
* Troubleshoot issues and defects to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
* Optimize page load times and overall website performance
Qualifications:
* 1+ years of hands-on experience with front-end development
* Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React
* Experience with Git version control and Agile development methodologies
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Detail-oriented with strong problem solving and analytical abilities
* Passion for improving digital experiences and affinity for our organization’s mission
Key Performance Indicators:
* Website uptime/availability
* Page load speed benchmarks
* User feedback/satisfaction scores
