Mail Room Volunteers Needed

The Norristown Hospitality Center is seeking a volunteer to help in our mail room on weekdays from 7:45 AM - 12:00 Noon. We currently need:

• Substitutes (when volunteers need to take time off)
• Mondays
• Thursdays
• Some Fridays

As a mail room volunteer, you would be responsible for:

• Greeting clients and distributing mail
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintaining the mail room inventory
• Keeping the mail room clean and organized
• Making copies
• Distributing toiletry kits/items.

We are looking for volunteers who are:

• Available on weekdays during the morning hours
• Friendly and approachable
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented

Other notes:

• Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older
• Volunteers must pass a background check
• Training and supervision will be provided
• For this volunteer opportunity, we cannot accept volunteers fulfilling court-mandated community service requirements.
