Pet Companions: Are volunteers who provide pet therapy and companionship for hospice patients and their families. We are looking for dogs and cats and animals that would be cool, calm and collected and be willing to let hospice patients pet them and talk to them and love on them.

We ask for weekly or bi-weekly visits with patients and their families in either their homes, grouphomes or facilities where patients live.

While it is encouraged and desired that all pets are certified pet therapists, not all facilities require certified pet therapists, and non-certified, well behaved dogs and cats are welcome to apply. Pets must be well behaved, have a calm demeanor and have all of their shot records.
