Job Overview:
Healing Favor Nutrition is looking for a volunteer WordPress Developer & Administrator to join a mission driven non-profit organization helping underserved and underrepresented populations. Must be ready to commit 4-6 hours or more weekly for minimum 1 month.
Responsibilities:
- Use a variety of programming languages to create user-friendly responsive mobile web pages.
- If possible create a new, redesign website theme using wordpress
- Maintain, update and improve company websites.
- Test and implement WordPress theme and plug-in updates; install, update, and ensure third-party scripts and integrations are functioning properly
- Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals
- Design and build the website front-end
- Optimize company website for maximum performance, stability, and scalability
- One year of proven experience as a WordPress developer (
- experience working with PHP / MySQL
- experience with front-end technologies (i.e., JavaScript, HTML and CSS)
- Knowledge of technical SEO principles
- Focus on responsive mobile user experience
