The Community Free Clinic helps Cabarrus County adults move toward wellness with healthcare and pharmacy services. We remove barriers of cost and lack of insurance by providing all services for free. We provide well visits, acute care, and chronic disease management with in-house lab and pharmacy. Our small staff works closely together to provide holistic care. While our services are free, visiting our Clinic as a patient is the same as any primary care doctor's office. We are open Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm, and see patients beginning at 9 am.

This past year, we have received 32% more patients, and we need additional volunteer nursing support for staff. We would love to have a volunteer available each day to help room patients, support our CMA, and work directly with doctors. We are flexible on days and times and will happily accept any time, talent, and energy that you can provide. Ideally, we would love to have one person for a 4-hour shift.

Volunteers will need to have an active license/credential, will be able to communicate with providers and patients, showing discretion and compassion.

If you are bilingual in Spanish, we most definitely need you! About 50% of our patients speak Spanish.
