We are looking for great advocates who have a passion for the cause of ending Alzheimer's. We need dedicated advocates like you to build on our success in Congress and in every state capital. We’ll train you to advocate in a variety of ways, some of which take just an hour or two every few months. Whatever your experience and availability, we’re eager to have you on our advocacy team! Our Mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
Description
We are the primary community resource for Alzheimers disease and related disorders through family services, education, public policy and research. We serve 96 counties in Illinois and Missouri, Skilled volunteers join professional staff to participate at every level of service from office support to public speaking to leadership and more. The associations success and growth are due to the dedication nearly 1,000 volunteers, including students and interns.
