Would you like to make a positive difference in someone’s life? Become a SHIIP volunteer today. The most rewarding part of volunteering with SHIIP is that it enables you to help others make informed decisions about their Medicare coverage. When you serve others, you benefit by gaining an improved mindset and a heart that is full.
You may not be an insurance agent or have an immediate family member who is an insurance agent; and not have a criminal background.
Some of the requirements of a volunteer are to complete an online Volunteer Basic Training (at no cost to you) and become certified, attend quarterly follow-up meetings, and provide 40 hours of service a calendar year which includes training, counseling, enrollment assistance and outreach activities. That’s less than 1 hour per week. Please call Lawana Schulze at 919-742-3975 for an application today.
