ORGANIZATION: United Way of Martin County/AmeriCorps Seniors

Volunteer United/AmeriCorps Seniors Program is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.

The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to provide compassionate care and nurture the bond between people and pets.

Volunteers are wanted to walk dogs through this agency's Memorial Garden for socialization and exercise.

Requirements are:
*Orientation and training
*One two hour shift weekly
*Three month commitment
*Must be able to handle and maintain control of a 50 pound dog
*Standing, bending & lifting

Available shifts: Monday - Saturday 10:30am - 12:30pm, 12:30pm - 2:30pm, or 2:30pm - 5:00pm
Sunday: 10:30am - 12:30pm, 12:30pm - 2:00pm, or 2:00pm - 4:00pm
