DOROT's Response Team for Older Adults provides a unique opportunity for volunteers to socialize with older adults in New York City while engaging in social activities. Social Activities Volunteers and their matches can meet for a one-time session or multiple visits, depending on activity requests and availability.
Activities include:
DOROT is a social services organization dedicated to addressing social isolation and promoting social connections for older adults. DOROT is headquartered in Manhattan. We welcome volunteers ages 18+ and especially those 50+ to volunteer in a wide-ranging set of roles.
