Meals on Wheels

As of August 1, 2023, congregate dining will return to Little House. The following positions need to be filled:

  • Plater will be responsible for plating the food, setting up and cleaning the line at the end of the service
  • Server- setting up the coffee/tea drinks station, delivering the meals to the tables, clearing plates from the tables, keeping the area clean and wiping down tables/chairs at the end of service
  • Cashier - will be responsible for taking order on the tablet, handling payments and reconciling cash drawer after service

We will need at least 3 volunteers a day. 11am-1pm Mon.-Fri.

1 Shift

  • 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM
    This opportunity consists of 3 separate positions: Plater, cashier, and server

Description

Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. has provided service since 1947 and has led the nation in developing programs and properties to support the welfare of the senior members of the community.

We prepare and deliver over 1000 nutritious meals every week to the homebound through Meals on Wheels , and touch over 4500 households through our programs at The Little House, Roslyn G. Morris Activity Center , Rosener House Adult Day Services , and Crane Place and Partridge-Kennedy Apts., low cost housing.
