Would you like to make a meaningful difference in the life of one of our members?

At Inclusive World, we embrace a person-centered approach, striving to understand each member of our neuro diverse community deeply and provide meaningful learning opportunities. To achieve this, we need your support as a buddy member!

Attend weekly classes and serve as a buddy to a single student for the course of the academic year. You'll have the opportunity to learn new skills alongside your student and assist with classwork and homework.

Being a buddy entails:
- Smile and greet your buddies as you start working with them to make them comfortable
- Try and understand boundaries
- As a buddy, encourage and positively motivate your member with class work/project
- As a buddy, you do not do the work for your member
- Lead your member to the right answer by asking questions and letting them think
- Use positive and encouraging language
- Demonstrate courteous, warm and kind behavior in every interaction.
- Maintain eye contact
- Execute the week-by-week plans and activities/projects for the spectrum of members enrolled for an academic session

About Inclusive World

106 S Park Victoria Dr, Milpitas, CA 95035, US

Mission Statement

Inclusive World’s mission is to enable differently abled individuals to lead a productive life of acceptance and inclusion. We develop skills and abilities of differently abled individuals in alignment with their interests and goals for the future and enable productive opportunities. Rooted in the principles of "Person Centered" practices, we work with differently abled individuals and their families, as "people first", to recognize their desires, interests and dreams. We offer skills development and employment opportunities that match their interests and focus on their holistic development.

We train differently abled youth in vocational skills based on their interests and abilities. From our humble beginnings in 2012 with one training program, we
now offer multiple streams of vocational training programs and job placement services to differently abled youth.
