Enhabit Hospice is seeking compassionate, patient, and caring volunteers that are committed to donating their time to care for our patients. Our patients need someone to share their final days with and we want people with a calming, understanding nature to give them that most basic of needs, human interaction. You would spend time with the patients talking, listening, playing games or anything the patient would want to do.

Our volunteers are a very valuable part of our mission and everything our volunteers do matters to us and our patients. Whether you are visiting our patients or creating encouraging cards/letters to send to them and their family members, you are significant to our mission to provide a better way to care...

Our theme, "A Better Way to Care", is fulfilled through compassionate, kind and understanding people like you in a caring community.

We are looking forward to partnering with you!

About Enhabit Health & Hospice

Location:

12727 Featherwood Dr. Suite 200, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77034, US

Mission Statement

We are A Better Way to Care. For those interested in making a difference in end-of-life care for patients, our hospice volunteers are there to provide companionship and support to patients in their final months and weeks of life. Our hospice volunteers also provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you have options about how often you help and the activities you complete. While a variety of options exist, Enhabit volunteers provide many of the following:  Companionship and socialization  Run errands for patients and families  Walk or care for family pets  Play games and/or read, listen to music or watch tv with patients.  Help with light housekeeping  Create photo albums of patients and their families.  Write a journal or life story with patients as a gift to their families.  Help with general office and agency support  Sometimes all they want is someone to listen to their life stories
