We need volunteers to help with the following and more:

  • Administration (filing bills and invoices)
  • Laboratory (labeling, creating bin cards, creating sample bags for trays, etc.)
  • Donor Screening (addressing envelopes, making fax packets, filing, etc.)
  • Client Relations (creating a variety of packets)
  • Community Relations (creating a variety of packets and stuffing envelopes)

We welcome volunteers of all ages and experience levels as valued members of the milk bank team.

Description

With the help of a collective of generous moms, Mothers' Milk Bank Northeast provides safe, FDA compliant, pasteurized donor human milk. 1.5 million feedings for babies a year! This milk is lifesaving for fragile babies (premature, cardiac, etc. patients in NICUs) and can also enable families to have successful breastfeeding outcomes with healthy infants.
