In March 2020, we launched the JASAChat program to connect volunteers with seniors for a weekly phone or video chat. JASAChat volunteers help to combat social isolation and loneliness among older adults living in New York City.
Our need for volunteers, especially those who speak Russian, continues to grow and we hope you will sign up to be part of our caring community.
Seniors and their families count on us, and we count on you! (ages 18+)
Please note this is a three month commitment.

- As a JASAChat volunteer we ask that you call a JASA senior once or twice a week for 3 months. These calls can take place at your convenience. Many volunteers continue after the 3 month time commitment, with matches celebrating 3 years chatting!
