Our store is going though some changes, including a remodel, rebranding, and soon new additional open hours!
Because of this we are looking for people to help work in our store, specifically Wednesdays and Fridays, though we are also open Thursday and Saturday.
Our store will be open Wednesday -Friday 11-4, and Saturday 10-4. You do not need to work open to close, and we can work out shorter shifts as needed.
As a ReStore volunteer you will help with:
Receiving donations
Researching items
Pricing items
Cleaning
Moving furniture
Sales
Loading customers items (when needed)
and more day to day help in the store.

We build trength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
Description
We build houses in Bennington County for eligible individuals and families. We are currently building our 33rd and 34th homes in the area. Our homes are purchased, not given away, but at a fair and affordable price, with little to no interest rates. Our Homeowners are also required to put in 200 hours of sweat equity per adult in the household to help build their house. Our most recent homeowner put in over 330 hours herself.
The homes we build are simple, yet elegant, and highly energy efficient to help keep the bills low.
We also do home repairs and build ramps for people to be able to safely remain in their homes, or in some cases to finally come home from a long term care facility.
