Bookstore Volunteers enhance Friends of the Library fundraising efforts by working shifts providing customer service and selling books and other items at the Civic Center and Mission Branch Library Bookstores, and at Jane & Evie’s Used Books. Bookstore Volunteers assist customers with the purchase of materials, handle cash and credit sales, straighten and maintain the neatness of the store and its shelves, and promote the Friends of the Library while visiting with store guests and through word of mouth.
