We are working on a special project that we could use some assistance with, which entails creating simple games for our medical website for kids.

If you are willing to lend us your skills and innovative creativity, we would be really appreciative.

Project Overview for MEDKids

We are pulling together a medical platform for kids to teach them about the anatomy of the body, the different body parts, and what’s required to become a doctor, a nurse or a hospital administrator. As of right now the resources on the internet are directed towards teenagers, meaning they are primarily made of text with few pictures, videos or cartoons. We are lowering our age range to kids between the ages of 4-10 and that’s because it’s the age where kids start playing pretend and thinking about what they way to be when they grow up. With all of our programs, we aim to allow young people an opportunity to get their feet wet in a career before jumping in feet first and this is our contribution to the medical field, which is a dying profession. So for a kid who hates math or science, maybe being a doctor is not the right path, but being a hospital administrator is instead. You will be provided with a list of topics to choose from and your submitted work will be reviewed with recommendations for editing prior to being sent to our design team for implementation.

Team: You would be working with a small team designers, artists and animators, but we will be bringing some others onboard within the next two weeks or so. You would also have a team lead who you will be reporting to.

Status: The app is not live on the internet.

Deadline for project: Would like to have it completed in the next 90 days.
