Are you passionate about music and looking for a way to make a positive impact on young minds? We have an exciting opportunity that will surely strike a chord with you! We are currently seeking musically inclined volunteers to join our vibrant children's Solid Rock Music Academy!

We are specifically looking for mentors for guitar (base guitar) and ukulele. However, if you are talented on a different instrument and looking to help, please reach out! The time commitment for this opportunity is Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:15 at our community center.

Our program aims to ignite the love for music in children and provide them with a nurturing environment to explore their musical talents. By volunteering with us, you'll have the chance to share your knowledge, skills, and passion for music, and inspire the next generation of budding musicians.

Description

The Salvation Army of Chico needs volunteers to help with weekly food distribution on Tuesdays from 11-1 to pack food bags or from 2-4 to help with drive-thru food distribution. Ongoing volunteer opportunities also include childcare, gardening, light housekeeping, and organization.
