Follow your heart, find your calling. If you enjoy spending time on the phone, making support calls to our patients is something you will find purpose and meaning in. This is a volunteer opportunity you can also take advantage of from the comfort of your own home.

Stein Hospice (an affiliate of Hospice of the Western Reserve) provides support to patients wherever they consider home - nursing homes, assisted living facilities, private homes, and HWR In-patient Units.

Volunteers should have good listening skills and be able to maintain patient confidentiality.

All direct care volunteers are required to complete 12 hours of Core Education with Hospice of the Western Reserve. This training is offered virtually!
