The Salvation Army of Winter Haven is seeking volunteers to help with retail tasks in their thrift store. Volunteers will help with receiving, sorting, and pricing donated items. Other tasks will include tagging the items with coded tickets, hanging the clothing and placing items on the sales floor, and assisting with basic cleaning to keep the area hazard free for the safety of the volunteers, staff, and customers.

The ideal volunteer is motivated, friendly, and has attention for detail. An apron will be provided and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Clothing should be comfortable but appropriate. The Salvation Army of Winter Haven is in need of volunteers for any amount of time on any day Monday through Saturday.
