CASA of St. Louis’ Young Professionals Board is a group of twenty- and thirty-somethings who support CASA of St. Louis and further our mission through fundraising, volunteering, and spreading awareness. Members come from many walks of life and professions, and gather quarterly to network with peers and plan and strategize. The group’s primary annual fundraiser is a CASA Trivia Night each fall; they also coordinate other events throughout the year. CASA of St. Louis provides advocacy for children in foster care; our Young Professionals help make it possible!
The Young Professionals Board is growing, and open to new members, partnerships, and awareness opportunities.

Mission Statement
CASA of St. Louis engages highly trained volunteers to provide best-interest court and community-based advocacy for children in the foster care system due to abuse and neglect.
Description
On any given day there are nearly 1,700 St. Louis children in foster care. These children desperately need a voice in the critical decisions that affect them today and long into the future. These are children who need advocates to speak up for them - to help break the cycle of abuse and set a course for nurturing healthy families for generations. There are many ways you can help give hope and a voice to a child.
Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers are paired with our staff of child advocacy professionals to create a powerful advocacy team for each child. CASA advocates are sworn officers of the court who get to know each child as an individual and, working with a child advocacy professional, advocate for the child’s best interests in court and in the community where decisions about the child’s life are made.
CASA of St. Louis is a member of the Missouri and National CASA Associations, and the United Way.
