Description

Hospice care serves the needs of terminally ill patients and their families and/or caregivers using a team-oriented approach focused on caring. Hospice helps maintain levels of comfort and quality of life for patients and their loved ones. Our hospice volunteers play a critical role in supporting patients. In fact, many of our volunteers are people who benefitted from volunteer support when they cared for a loved one on hospice. People who have experienced hospice uniquely know how important these weeks and months are for you and your loved one. It takes a special calling to be with someone when they are dying.
