During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Tasks may include but are not limited to: Being a friend, visiting with patients and family members, listening to stories, talking about hobbies, interests, and current events, reading out loud to a patient, listening to music with a patient, going outside with a patient, sitting with a patient while a caregiver takes a break.
Our Volunteers do not provide hands on care. They do monitor & report progress to their hospice team.

" Providing compassion and caring, while striving to enhance the quality of life for those with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones."
The importance of our Volunteers to the hospice program cannot be overstated. Without you we could provide neither the kinds nor the scope of services that are so urgently needed to enhance the quality of the lives of our patients and their families.
In addition, since hospice has developed in response to a community need, it is appropriate and necessary that members of the community share in and contribute to that growth. Volunteers serve as a link between hospice and the community for mutual support and information sharing.
We'll work with your schedule.
