Compassionate hospice volunteers are a valuable and required part of our patient centered care team. They improve the quality of life for our patients and families at the time that life matters most. As a Gentiva volunteer, you make a difference in many ways:

• Providing companionship to patients

• P erforming light housekeeping

• Play music for relaxation

• Read to patients

• Supplying respite care for caregivers

• Veteran-to-Veteran opportunities also availabl e

• And the list goes on

Our volunteer coordinator will help you discover the best fit for you based on your interests and preferences. Your volunteer hours are set around your schedule. Initial and ongoing training will be provided.
