The Human Resources Coordinator of TAPC is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the organization's human resources function. They develop and implement policies and procedures related to recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Coordinator may also oversee the organization's personnel records, and employee training and development programs. Additionally, they may be responsible for managing relationships with external human resources vendors, other organizations and other volunteers. They also provide guidance to managers and employees on human resources-related issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure that the organization is complying with all relevant laws and regulations. The HR also plays a critical role in supporting the organization's staff and ensuring that it has the resources needed to specialist its mission.

Take a Pain Check Foundation is a Ontario registered, international youth-led community and non-profit organization founded in self-advocacy to empower youth with rheumatic diseases. They host bi-weekly podcasts, run ambassador programs for health professionals and youth, pilot rheumatic-related events, feature stories on their blog platform and lead monthly Joint Chat Rheum hangouts.
