ORGANIZATION: Compassus Hospice Muskogee

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

If you are compassionate, caring and want to help others, try becoming a hospice volunteer. Being a volunteer is a perfect way to give back. Volunteers often say that being a hospice volunteer has changed their lives. They say volunteering has made them feel needed and humbled by the relationships that they make with patients and their families. Giving of your time is one of the most compassionate gift you could possible give. Volunteers can choose the location and hours that they want to volunteer. Your time is important, together we will make a plan to utilize your time in a way it can make the strongest impact.
Here are some examples of the opportunities that a volunteer can choose from:

  • Direct Patient Support - In-person visits offering socialization
  • Caregiver Support - phone calls, sitting with a patient while caregiver runs errands or has doctor's appointments
  • Bereavement Support - This position could include, phone calls and mailings.
  • Please contact me for additional opportunities
I look forward to visiting with you about volunteering.
Thank you,
Tracy Parish
