Mission Statement

The Aerial Arts Association (AAA) aims to standardize education, promote technical challenges, elevate aerialists' status, professionalize the discipline, foster collaboration, support educational organizations, and provide a platform for artists. Through teacher certification, competitive events, formal syllabus, examinations, and collaborations, the AAA strives to advance the aerial arts as a respected discipline. They also support community organizations and facilitate performances for artists at all levels. AAA's multifaceted approach strengthens the aerial arts community and ensures its sustained growth and development.

Description

Established in 2012, Aerial Arts American Institute dba Aerial Arts America is a nonā€profit 501(c)(3) organization functioning as an international governing body for aerial arts. Our mission is to generate exposure for national and international talent, nurture the development of artists and performers and advocate for educational and performing arts standards in all areas of aerial arts.

We develop standards from both an educational and performing arts standpoint through three pillars: teacher certification, festivals and competitions as well as scholarship trainings.
