Compassus Hospice is seeking volunteers for patient support, veteran to veteran visits and/or pinning ceremonies, and sewing.
Patient Support Volunteers: Provide companionship to the patient and respite for the caregiver. Ways to help include:
- Friendly visits
- Reading to patients
- Being a peaceful presence to patients

Veteran to Veteran Volunteers: Compassus is proud to participate in the We Honor Veterans program. Many of our locations provide trained veteran volunteers who offer camaraderie and compassionate care for fellow veterans. Our veteran-to-veteran volunteers understand the unique needs of veterans because they ARE veterans.

Sewing Volunteers: Our sewing volunteers create amazing memory bears for the families of our patients who have passed. Pattern, instructions, poly-fil, interfacing, noses, and eyes are all provided - all that’s needed is your sewing talent!
