ORGANIZATION: Gentiva Hospice of Neosho, MO

A Hospice Music Volunteer is someone looking to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Through your musical talents you would provide relaxation and emotional/spiritual support to our patients and their families as they experience a life limiting illness,
Direct/Companionship Music Volunteers have flexibility of going into local nursing homes, assisted living facilities &/or homes of our patients.
Volunteers are highly trained & valued just like our employees. Training is provided at whatever level you find yourself. Maybe you're a retired Social Worker or RN, or you could have no caregiving background at all but are feeling drawn to this. We support our Volunteers on their journey just as we do our patients & their families.
