Welcome to Amedisys Hospice Volunteer Program!

You have started the first step to becoming a volunteer. We are currently seeking volunteers for one of our virtual opportunities. Our Tuck In Call program is a way to connect with hospice patients and their families virtually. Virtual volunteers call an assigned list of patients once a week to provide companionship.

Volunteer Training provided upon completion of application and background screening.

Description

As a community-based agency, Amedisys Hospice is committed to providing proper care of the dying patient and their family, as well as education for the community regarding Hospice. Hospice Care is provided to any patient regardless of ability to pay. Our Volunteer Program assists patients and families with social and emotional support.
