Carpe Librum will be popping up in Navy Yard (200 M St SE) for an exciting pop-up book sale on Saturday, June 10th! We will need volunteers to help us set up and break down the tables and bookshelves for this fundraising event. This is a great opportunity to spend an hour or two supporting literacy and education in the DC public school system.

Can you lend a hand?

  • The first shift is from 9:00am - 10:00am helping to set up the tables and shelve books according to category.
  • The second shift is from 4:30pm - 5:30pm helping to break down the tables and pack up books.

If interested, sign up via VolunteerMatch and we will reach out with more details. Contact Cassidy at cbins@turningthepage.org with any questions. If you’re interested in helping out at one of our other pop-up books sales around the city, you can view our sale calendar here: https://turningthepage.org/events/.
Thank you!

(We’re not just any bookstore: we’re a fundraising bookstore! Carpe Librum collects donated books, CDs, and DVDs to support the DC nonprofit Turning the Page.)
