ORGANIZATION: Greater Cleveland Volunteers

Help grieving children and their families, experiencing the death of someone special in their lives.

Volunteers are sought for:

Hospitality- Help welcome our families and order and serve pizza dinner before grief support groups. Meetings are held two Tuesdays per month from 5:45-7:15pm, during the school year. Mandatory background check.

Support Group Facilitator- Co-facilitate peer-based grief support groups for children, teens and their families who have experienced the death of someone special in their lives. Facilitate emotional awareness and expressive arts activities; no therapy provided. Training provided. Meetings are held two Tuesdays per month from 5:45-9pm during the school year. Mandatory background check.
