Calling all Boston volunteers!
Community Cooks is looking for new volunteers to cook ONE DISH, ONCE A MONTH to help nourish neighbors in need. Volunteers needed ASAP to cook one dish each that serves 10-12 people and deliver the dish in the Downtown Crossing neighborhood between 4:30PM and 6PM one Thursday per month.

About us: Community Cooks mobilizes 750+ volunteers, including individuals, businesses, civic and faith-based groups, to prepare home-cooked meals for neighbors who struggle with food insecurity. We partner with 35 community service agencies and help feed 2,000 neighbors every month.

Mission Statement
Community Cooks is a network of volunteers who offer free, home-cooked meals to vulnerable populations seeking assistance from direct-service agencies in the Greater Boston area. We proudly partner with these agencies that, due to lack of funds and/or facilities, struggle to provide food for those they serve.
Description
In contributing nutritious and much-needed food, Community Cooks aims to: feed our hungry neighbors who might otherwise go without; build a bridge of caring between volunteers and community members in need and; support conditions for program participants to achieve success by alleviating their hunger needs.
