Description:
Pantry prep volunteers assist staff with various duties including organizing and moving inventory going out during pantry at 57 Olive Street. If the shift is full, you will be "waitlisted" (a waitlisted volunteer is not registered and should not come to volunteer). Please check your email to verify your status.
Purpose:Assist staff with preparing for our once a week pantry program. TEENS, 15 - 18: You are welcome to join us often. We will need parental permission the first time you sign up.

Description
Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen (DESK) has been serving New Haven, Connecticut, for over 30 years. Powered by over 1,000 volunteers annually, DESK provides dinner each night, groceries each week, and summer supplemental foods to school-aged children. Altogether, DESK passionate staff and volunteers serve over 2,000 people each year.
