If you are volunteering as a group, please make sure that each member of your group registers individually.
Pride Millvale volunteers can expect to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for people looking to celebrate their identities within the LGBTQIA+ community (though volunteers do not have to be members of the community themselves).
Our event will feature local vendors, organizations, resources, and entertainment - that all comes with plenty of set up, maintenance, and tear down!
Interested volunteers should be:
- prepared to spend their 2 hour shift on their feet and in the sun*
- receptive to short-term needs of the even
- able to participate using a group communication app
If needed, please send requests for proof of your volunteer hours to pridemillvale@gmail.com.
*Volunteer opportunities can easily be tailored to individual accessibility needs (ex: needing to sit, access to shade, longer/shorter shifts, written instructions, working with a partner, etc).
