Just For Us Girls is hosting a Basketball Tournament for youth boys and girls from grades 2nd to 7th. Its part of Summer Series of Activities Health and Wellness for All.
JFUG 3 on 3 Basketball Summer Series.
The goal is to provide a FUN atmosphere for kids to experience playing basketball where they could play with friends and touch the ball a lot without coaches yelling or an emphasis on winning. At JFUG we care about creating an environment where kids loved playing basketball.
So, we focused on FUN. This means kids playing with friends, listening to music, no coaches controlling how they played or yelling at them, increased opportunities with the ball, and the list goes on.
Dates:
June 25 th Kick Off & Meet & Greet
July 9 th to August 6 th (Proposed Dates Sunday: 2pm - 6pm (flexible with time)
Structure
Typically, each team will play two games per day/evening. Games will usually be 20 minutes running time and played on a half court. A referee will score games. Typically, there is music playing and educational activities available. We try to build the schedule, so teams play its two games within 90 minutes or less.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Just For Us Girls focuses on ages 9 - 18.
The "Royal Title" Youth Empowerment Program is designed to empower and inspire young individuals to recognize and embrace their inherent potential. We believe that every young person possesses unique qualities that make them extraordinary, akin to the qualities of royalty. Our program is committed to helping them discover their "royal titles" and develop the confidence, skills, and character needed to build a future filled with purpose and success.
