Positive People Network Inc, is a non-profit social organization for people living with HIV and AIDS. PPN is looking for a Volunteer (unpaid) Director of Social Media to help expand our online presence, build our brand and increase awareness of our business ,prevention, testing, living Positively, educational workshops, annual fundraising and social networking opportunities. Are you a social media wiz looking to give back to your community, gain valuable work experience and get involved in ending the HIV epidemic and Stigma. Are you looking for a volunteer role that affords you an opportunity to put your current skills to work, learn new things and be part of a team? Do you like the flexibility of being able to contribute your time from the comfort of your home during the hours that work best for you? Are you excited about working with others who share your same passion for helping to educate the community about HIV? What’s Involved: Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content to promote awareness, fundraising, events and updates . Assist with designing and implementing social media strategies to help further the goals of the organization. Suggest and implement new ideas to increase attendance of volunteers and events. Attend monthly team meetings What we’re looking for: Available to volunteer 10+ hours a month Hands on experience in content management Ability to help deliver creative content (text, image, and video) Excellent communication skills Experience in multiple areas of Social Media About HIV and AIDS.
