Join us in our mission to accelerate the social justice movement, locally, nationally, and globally.

Our nonprofit is looking for a volunteer to help us get out more awareness of our organization and mission. Use your expertise in public relations will help us reach a broader audience and generate increased support for our mission. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance our visibility, improve our public image, and attract media attention through effective communication and engagement strategies.

Location: Remote U.S.A

Time Commitment: Flexible (approximately 3-5 hours per week) for at least 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic public relations plans to raise awareness of our organization and its initiatives.
• Identify and build relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers relevant to our cause.
• Help develop and maintain a media contact database.
• Help with marketing materials to promote LoveJustice and our work.
• Assist with our social media accounts and engaging with our followers.
• Developing ways to help us raise our profile and advance our cause.
• Work with our team to ensure consistent messaging and communication.

Qualifications:

• Professional experience in public relations or a degree in public relations
• Passionate about the LoveJustice mission and helping us grow
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience with social media
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and update a database
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable
• Comfortable working remotely and using online collaboration tools.
