Visitante Amistoso
Conviértase en un visitante para un adulto mayor o una persona discapacitada para ayudarlos a permanecer conectados a la comunidad con el objetivo final de ayudarlos a seguir viviendo en sus hogares a medida que envejecen. RSVP necesita voluntarios que puedan comprometerse a por lo menos una hora a la semana con alguien en su comunidad.

¡Ahora más que nunca el apoyo de la comunidad es tan importante e impactante! El Programa de Voluntarios para Jubilados y Adultos Mayores (RSVP) administrado por TVCCA ofrece el apoyo que alguien necesita para seguir viviendo en casa: ya sea con las necesidades de compras de comestibles, Comidas a domicilio (Meals on Wheels), visitas amistosas, entrega de medios de comunicaión la biblioteca, viajes médicos o ayudar a organizer Cafeterias para los Veteranos.
Si tiene más de 55 años, contáctenos para saber cómo su ayuda puede mejorar la calidad de vida de una persona mayor o discapacitada ofreciéndose como voluntario según su horario para ayudar a un vecino en su comunidad.

Healthy Futures: Aging In Place
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is The AmeriCorps Seniors Program managed by TVCCA. Now, more than ever, community support is so important and impactful. RSVP volunteers offer the support that someone needs to remain living at home; volunteers help with grocery shopping, deliver Meals on Wheels, visiting, phone reassurance, local medical rides, and library book delivery.
RSVP volunteers help host bi-monthly Veteran's Coffeehouses. The Coffeehouse’s mission is "to provide a comfortable location for ALL veterans-both men and women of any age-to meet, socialize, communicate and receive supported information regarding veterans benefits and services through state and federal agencies and programs."
Volunteers who are 55+ are matched with people who are 65+ (or disabled) and independently homebound, at no cost to the person who needs the service.
