- Serve as the client’s ambassador.
- Analyze client assistance requests, complete required verifications, assess budget, and review previous casework history.
- Develop a budget with service members, their eligible dependents or retired service members.
- Evaluate whether needs presented can be met within NMCRS relief policies.
- Recommend appropraite resources to clients that best suit their needs.
- Approve no interest loans in accordance with NMCRS guidelines.
- Consult with a mentor to determine whether to assist or recommend other services.
- Present requests for exceptions to Headquarters Caseworkers, with concurrence of the Director or designee.
- Complete required documentation using NMCRS software programs
