Serve as client’s ambassador
 Analyze client assistance requests, complete required verifications, assess budget, and review previous
casework history
 Evaluate whether needs presented can be met within NMCRS relief policies
 Consult with a mentor to determine whether to assist or recommend other services/referrals
 Present requests for exceptions to Headquarters Caseworkers, with concurrence of the Director or
designee
 Complete required documentation using NMCRS software programs
Serve as client’s ambassador
 Develop a budget with Service members, their eligible dependents or retired service members
 Approve no interest loans in accordance with NMCRS guidelines
 Recommendation appropriate resources to clients that best suite their needs
