  • 1 person is interested

"A Mild Sprain" is one of Westchester’s largest grassroots fundraisers. Over the past 9 years, the event has raised more than $1 Million to help fund research that supports JDRF’s mission to improve lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat T1D and its complications.

The event draws people from the tri-state area bringing participants together for a worthy cause!

This is your moment to fundraise and help turn type one into type none! Know that every step, every participant, and every dollar brings us closer to our finish line-a world without T1D.

We are looking for a photographer and extra volunteers for set up and clean up

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Our strength lies in our exclusive focus and singular influence on the worldwide effort to end T1D. Improving lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.

Description

JDRF works every day to change the reality of this disease for millions of people-and to prevent anyone else from ever knowing it-by funding research, advocating for government support of research and new therapies, ensuring new therapies come to market and connecting and engaging the T1D community. We’ve funded more than $2 billion in research to date and made significant progress in understanding and fighting the disease. We must keep up the pace of funding so progress doesn’t slow or stop entirely.
