This opportunity invites individuals and small community groups to volunteer at the Gail Miller Resource Center, operated by The Road Home. Volunteers will help with sorting clothing donations and organizing the warehouse. Our facility can accommodate 3 volunteers at a time with plenty of tasks to keep everyone busy. If you have a larger group, please contact us and we will be happy to accommodate. Listed below is an overview of our program and helpful tips to prepare you for this engaging service opportunity.

Warehouse Service Guidelines

1. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to be in the kitchen
2. To ensure the privacy of the people we serve, photos/videos with shelter guests are not permitted at any time. Please reach out for specific photo guidelines.
3. For safety, volunteers must wear closed toed shoes.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel your shift, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.
