Want to help our Community Cat Population? Have morning availability? Come help us with TNVR!
TNVR stands for Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate & Return. Here at Pasco County Animal Services, we offer 5 surgery slots for TNVR cat surgeries Tuesday-Friday every week. We are looking for volunteers to help check in community trappers with their cats in the mornings from 8am-9am. If interested, can stay longer than 9am to help with data entry after all surgeries are checked in for the morning.
By offering surgeries to our community cats, we're helping reduce the cat overpopulation in Pasco & keeping the current population healthy. The ideal candidate:
- Morning Weekday availability (shift is from 8am-9pam)
- Comfortable lifting/carrying feral cats in cat traps
- Comfortable speaking with the public
- Able to use our computer data entry system called Chameleon
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, then head to our website at https://www.pascocountyfl.net/175/Pets-and-Animals to apply to volunteer with us!
