- Help us hand out free lunches to kiddos who can't access meals at school when they are not in school for the summer!
-This position will help our team distribute meals to children at our Summer Feeding Kids Cafe sites (aka as our Lunch Lab program). The Community Kitchen team would love to have you help them along the entire route, but they understand if you're only able to jump in at one of the sites.
-You will assist our staff by asking families how many children they have and tracking meals on our "Record of Meals" sheet. If the meal service is at a park we may have you walk around with flyers to tell families about the program. This summer we will also be offering activities such as yard games or crafts that you may assist with.
- We operate our program under the USDA's Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Please review and sign off on the required FBLC SFSP training before you arrive.
