We are sharing our exciting opportunity for college students/ young adults to get involved with our Read Across the Generations program at Montgomery County Public Libraries this summer. What is Read Across the Generations?
From mid-July to mid-August, five Montgomery County libraries will host a special intergenerational reading program where adults 50+ will read with children-fostering a love of books and building meaningful connections. We’re looking for six enthusiastic college students/young adults to join our team and help make this program a success! As a volunteer, you’ll: Help find appropriate books for reading sessions Invite families in the library to participate Take attendance and assist with logistics Answer general questions This is a once-a-week commitment for five weeks, and we’ll have more details soon as we finalize plans with Montgomery County Public Libraries.
