Do you like veggies? Want to learn more about local farming in the greater Boston area? Come try out a workshare shift with Brookwood Community Farm at the Roslindale Farmers' Market!
The Market runs from 9 am-1:30 pm every Saturday from June 3rd-November 18th. Workshares pick the morning shift (7:30 am-11 am) or the afternoon shift (11 am-2:30 pm) that occurs on Saturday each week. Morning workshares will help us unload the truck, set up our produce stand, restock as the day progresses, and answer customer questions. Afternoon workshares will help restock produce, answer questions, and pack up our booth at the end of the day. During each shift, you can pick a CSA share's worth of produce (roughly $30 in value) from the veggies we bring to market that week!
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to volunteer on a week-to-week basis without a consistent long-term schedule. Join the fun and inquire today!

The Brookwood Community Farm is a working farm located in Milton and Canton, MA. Brookwood Community Farm’s mission is to build a farm-centered community that members call their own. Farm members are united by a shared passion for sustainable agriculture, fresh local food, and a commitment to increasing access to healthy food. Brookwood grows food sustainably for members through a community supported agriculture (CSA) model, provides on-farm educational and community-building opportunities, and actively supports food access projects. Although Brookwood Community Farm is not organic certified, we follow the Northeast Organic Farmer’s Association organic pledge, which outlines the environmentally and socially sustainable practices we follow.
