Hair Stylist Volunteers provide hair styling services to patients in their home.

As a hospice patient, if can be difficult to leave home to take care of personal business due to their illness, but that's no reason why they shouldn't still look their best. We are seeking 2-3 volunteers who can visit patients in their homes and donate a free cut to these individuals. Appointments are made upon request and can be scheduled at a time that is convenient to you.

Proof of a current license is required of all stylists prior to assignments.

Assignments are made as close to your home/salon as possible. Volunteers are given choices of who they visit and where they go.

An initial volunteer orientation is required of all Community Healthcare of Texas volunteers. Training and support programs are offered on a regular basis, to ensure that your service experience is meaningful and rewarding. There is no cost for training, and sessions are offered throughout the year.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Hair Stylist volunteer, please call/text our Volunteer Coordinator, Rayne at 682-681-4173 or visit our website at http://www.chot.org to complete an online Volunteer Inquiry form.
