ORGANIZATION: Project CURE

Project C.U.R.E. is looking for volunteers with expertise in the BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) software program. The BIRT software volunteer is responsible for assisting with document creation, document maintenance (BIRT), and software maintenance in FlowTrac (inventory system).

Responsibilities:

The BIRT software volunteer is responsible for the areas of:

  • Update existing shipping and planning documents by using BIRT software.
  • Create new shipping documents in our inventory system by using BIRT software.
  • Assist with specific grid and view creations in FlowTrac to allow for easier inventory management and reporting.
  • Review FlowTrac system performance to allow us to improve our processes, timelines, and overall quality of service.

The BIRT software volunteer works closely with the Director of Logistics and Project Manager.

Project C.U.R.E. ships millions of dollars in lifesaving medical supplies, sending an average of two to three semi-truck sized cargo containers each week to nearly every continent on the globe.
