Volunteers are the heart of our organization.
Volunteers needed for all areas. Companionship for patients in patient homes and in facilities, administrative, front desk at Beacon Place and Hospice Home. There is need for patient errands, transportation (for patients who are ambulatory). Walk the family dog, pick up groceries. Your presence is what matters most!
Companionship is such a great need for our patients and families. Simply being there makes a difference!
2 locations - Burlington Campus and Greensboro Campus for training. Volunteer in Alamance County and Guildford County - as well as the surrounding areas. You choose where you would like to volunteer and how you would like to volunteer.
Volunteers are required to provide an application, picture ID and submit to a background check prior to training. UPDATED hybrid training that fits most schedules.

- We ask our volunteers to give 24 hours per year. Training is done in 2 in-person sessions and videos. Our hybrid training fits most schedules.
- Driver's License or picture ID required. Teen 14-17 do not submit a background check but will need their parents signature. TB testing required (at no cost to you)
